    The Level 3 Paediatric First Aid online course is aimed at childcare professionals, teachers, parents, and anyone responsible for the care of infants and young children. It is also suitable for individuals working in early years settings who need to meet regulatory requirements for first aid training.

    All about this Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course

    This Paediatric First Aid (Level 3) course has been developed for those who are working / wish to work with children and infants. This accredited course provides theoretical training in first aid techniques that are specific to infants aged under 1, and children aged from 1 year old to the onset of puberty.  It will especially be of interest to parents, teachers, child minders, crèche assistants, playgroup personnel and anyone else who has a responsibility for their welfare whilst in your care. It is ideal for individuals who are responsible for children and infants, who wish to gain an accredited Paediatric First Aid Award. Once you have completed the knowledge test, you will receive a CPD accredited certificate.

    You don’t need to have any previous training to do this course.

    In order to complete the course, you must achieve 80% or more in the final multiple choice quiz.

    What is the structure of the course?

    Once you have completed all the modules there is a multiple-choice test. The questions will be on a range of topics found within the modules. The test, like the course, is online and can be taken at a time and location of your choosing.

    What if I don't pass the test?

    If you don’t pass the test first time then you will get further opportunities to take the test again after extra study. There are no limits to the number of times you can take the test. All test retakes are included within the price of the course.

    When will I receive my certificate?

    Once you have completed your test you can log in to your account and download/print your certificate any time you need it.

    How long does it take to complete the course?

    We estimate that the entire program is likely to take around 2-4 hours to work through initially, but you may want to allow more time to repeat some areas. You should allow an additional 30 minutes for the end of course test.

    The course is divided into simple sections with a short quiz at the end of each to test your knowledge. Once you have progressed through each of the course sections you can complete an end of course quiz which consists of multiple-choice questions based on the material that you have studied.
