Course Description
The Cisco CCNA online course covers Cisco 100-105 (ICND1) and Cisco 200-105 (ICND2) exam curriculum. The Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) associate level certification will give students the ability to work with routed and switched networks. This certification is part of the Cisco certified professional program and is aimed at junior network administrators.
The CCNA course focuses on the installation, configuration, operation and troubleshooting of medium-sized networks as well as teaching the fundamentals of working with WAN (Wide Area Networks), wireless concepts and network security.
About Cisco CCNA Certification
Cisco offer five levels of network certification within the Career Certification program: Entry, Associate, Professional, Expert and Architect. The CCNA is an Associate level certification.
This is an internationally recognised and accepted certification which will further enhance the career of any IT professional that wishes to validate their skills in networking as they will be able to swiftly identify and solve more intricate network problems.
Cisco CCNA Requirements
There are no prerequisites for this course or exams. A Basic understanding of computer systems and network technologies is recommended. Students could complete the CompTIA Network+ Course if they feel their knowledge could be improved prior to study.

Certification Details
To earn your Cisco CCNA qualification you will be required to study two courses and pass both of the exams – one for each course. After passing the first exam (Cisco 100-105 (ICND1), you will earn the CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician) qualification. Once you have passed the second exam (Cisco 200-105 (ICND2), you will then gain the CCNA certification.
The two exams associated with this official Cisco certification are:
- 100-105 ICND1: Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices – Part 1
- 200-105 ICND2: Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices – Part 2
Examinations must be sat at a registered Pearson VUE testing centre and are currently £132.00 + VAT each.
To prepare you for your exam, we provide interactive quizzes after each module and a mock exam at the end of your course to ensure you’re fully prepared for the real thing. Once you’ve passed with at least 85%, you’ll be ready to book your exam as a private candidate.
